Know where you're going and get there quickly

Stumbling around in a maze is fun for children, but once grown up we all want to know where we're going - and get there quickly.  That's especially true on the internet.  If you land on a website and you cannot immediately find what you're looking for, or work out how to get there, chances are you'll leave,  and quickly.

A well-developed site is clean and uncluttered with plenty of white space.  Visitors can tell at a glance who you are and what product and service you offer.

Navigation and text links

Visitors will also be able to move easily from page to page, following navigation links across the top or down the left-hand side of the page.  Throughout each page, text links will direct visitors to other areas of the site that may interest them.
